Tata Play Binge : The companies announced in a press release that Tata play and Amazon Prime have partnered to provide Tata Play DTH and Tata Play Binge users with a variety of methods to access Prime’s content as well as additional advantages like same-day delivery.According to Harit Nagpal, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Play, who spoke exclusively to ET Online, the trend to bundle apps is a new category and is all about giving customers convenience.
We are working to expand the category from its current tiny size to something substantial at this time. Tata Play Binge With a set-top box, users may view live Tata and over-the-top (OTT) content simultaneously on a single device without juggling numerous HDMI connections when connected to the internet. The user’s access to OTT material on this Set Top Box consists of VOD, Tata Play’s seven-day catchup series, and content from apps such as Sonyliv, Aha, and Hotstar.
Tata Play Binge Packages
Customers of DTH may now select from a number of packages, which start at Rs 199 per month and include Prime Lite and a number of their favorite TV channels in addition to Tata Play.Binge users may also access over thirty more well-known apps at different price points, including Prime Lite with this. From a selection of 33 OTT applications, users can choose to subscribe to six of them (Prime Video costs Rs 199 per month) or all 33 (Prime Video costs Rs 349 per month). The ability to create custom OTT bundles has been granted by Tata Play Binge’s new pricing options.
Tata Play and Amazon Prime Collaboration
Tata Play and Amazon Prime have partnered to provide users with a wide range of perks, including shopping, shipping, and video. This will feature 5% cashback on Amazon Pay with an ICICI Bank credit card, free limitless same-day delivery on over a million products, and free next-day delivery on over four million products. Additionally, Prime members will have early access to bargains and unique offers.
“While the addition of Prime Lite Membership with this will make Binge a more compelling proposition, on the other hand, Tata Play’s robust content distribution network will help in expanding Amazon Prime’s outreach to newer audience segments,” Nagpal stated.Apart from the recently introduced options, DTH subscribers have the option to avail an introductory offer on an annual subscription to Amazon Prime via Tata Play DTH. This would grant them access to five screens for Prime Video, free delivery and other shopping perks, Amazon Music, Prime Reading, and Prime Gaming.
